Slow cooker Cajun Chicken Alfredo


Ingredients:

3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

4 tsp Cajun seasoning

4 tbsp butter

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

2 cups heavy cream

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp lemon pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

8 oz penne pasta

Parmesan cheese for topping, grated


Directions:

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and cover with Cajun seasoning. Add remaining ingredients except for penne. Cook on high for about 2 1/2 hours or until cooked. Shred chicken with two forks in cooker container and add penne. Serve when penne is fully cooked. Garnish if desired with Parmesan.
