Calling ALL Coffee Enthusiast's this one is for you!

In this blog I will be listing 5 of the best(in my opinion) places to get a cup of joe on the Outer Banks.

Front Porch Cafe- With three very successful locations in Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and in Manteo, Front Porch Cafe is known for leaving customers with that 'local feel'. Opening its doors back in 1999, Front Porch Cafe has made a lasting impression on the people who live here all seasons. Five times best voted "Best Coffee in the Outer Banks" by readers of the Coast Magazine.

Waveriders Coffee & Deli- Located in Nags Head, NC. Waveriders is unique in the fact that you can not only come here for one of the best cups of coffee but you can also come in for a beer, a mimosa, and they also offer a pretty great selection of sandwiches. Waveriders is a bit different than the typical coffee shop and that is EXACTLY the way they like it. Bring a book, a friend, your appetite, or your work. Come ride the wave.

Morning View Coffee & Roastery- Located in Nags Head, NC. Morning view is known for its beach themed drink selections and locally made art displays. Great coffee is ALWAYS guaranteed but if you're lucky you will walk in to be greeted by a smiling, friendly golden retriever! Who doesn't like great coffee and overly lovable puppies?

Duck's Cottage- Duck's Cottage Coffee & Books opened at the Waterfront Shops on July 22, 2002. The building itself was previously known as the Powder Ridge Gun Club, a hunting cottage built in 1921 by a group of New York investors who frequented the area taking advantage of the waterfowl hunting it afforded. Powder Ridge was and is the only hunt club ever built in Duck, making for one of the oldest buildings in town. As soon as you step inside this cute, comfy, cozy building you're immediately greeted by a smiling barista ready to deliver on any of your specific coffee needs.

Cafe Lachine- Located by the wonderful Outer Banks Hospital, Cafe Lachine will not only answer all of your caffeine gods answers, it will most definitely answer those sweet tooth needs. Whether you're in the mood for a french vanilla iced coffee or a cheese danish. This is the place for you.
