Outer Banks Equipment Rentals
On the Outer Banks, there are lots of activities to enjoy that range from water-sports, cruising around the area and just enjoying the beach life. You might want to partake in all of these activities but wonder how could you paddle around in the sound, for example, without a kayak. There’s a simple solution to this quandary, and it’s Outer Banks equipment rental stores. Surf companies throughout the Outer Banks don’t just sell all of their gear – many offer rental deals where you can find paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, skimboards, wet-suits, fishing gear, life jackets and other water-sport supplies. If you’re considering buying any of this equipment, rentals are a great way to test different models and designs to find what works best before you make the purchase. There are so many entertaining Outer Banks activities that you couldn't possibly bring all the equipment you'll need on a vacation to cover it all. Luckily, you can rent just about anything you'll need once you're here. If you want to rent kayaks to do some exploring of the sound waters or to ride the waves, Ocean Atlantic Rentals will bring them to you. And though you’ll need your car from time to time to get to the grocery store or between shopping centers, a lot of the time you can just ditch the car and pedal everywhere you go, explore the area with one of their new electric bikes or better yet rent a four- to six-seat electric LSV golf cart! With a max speed of 25 miles per hour, these gas-free cruisers are an ultra-convenient way to maneuver around town on streets with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. Ocean Atlantic Rentals rents single-speed beach cruisers, kids’ and BMX bikes, Kiddie Kart trailers and trikes for the little ones, plus you can get helmets and gear for the entire family. As of 2019, Ocean Atlantic Rentals rents RAD brand electric bikes and step thru models for half- and full-day rentals. These bikes can go 25-45 miles on a single charge and feature pedal assist or full throttle cruising. They also have a headlight and taillight for evening riding. Pick up your bikes there or have them delivered to your door. Ocean Atlantic Rentals also has all the equipment you need for standup paddleboarding, surfing, body boarding or skim boarding. They also have swim fins, which are great for body boarding. If the water is chilly when you’re here, they rent wetsuits to keep you warm while you tackle the waves. Ocean Atlantic Rentals is also a full-service rental company for any big item you might not have wanted to cart from home such as cribs, high chairs, strollers, beach chairs, umbrellas, grills, beach-friendly wheelchairs, dog crates and more. In addition to delivering your rental items to your vacation cottage, Ocean Atlantic Rentals now offers a daily cabana service-style setup and breakdown of your beach chairs and umbrellas at your oceanfront rental cottage. Their service includes free delivery and pickup to your beach cottage. The staff can even text message you when your items are ready to use.
